Poverty

Leap into Hope believes that it is possible to restore hope from the devastating effects of poverty. By fighting poverty people are given an opportunity to escape extreme poverty. Leap into Hope has been using a multifaceted approach to fight poverty. This has been done through feeding programmes, funding education, medical provisions, donating and shipping vital aid, donating food and promotion of sustainable projects. Poor people are at risk of not getting education or good education, risk of disease and if they are children malnutrition and stunting. Children can leave the education system early in life, are likely to miss out on school, or get a poor quality education. We have a vision of installing boreholes to support garden projects and chicken projects. We are looking into making water safe for many and build toilets to prevent water born diseases. Let’s overcome the effects of poverty today.

Elliot and Knights Story

It was a great day to Elliot and Knight’s grandmother Chidzambwa when she was informed that the two grandsons had found sponsors. Elliot and Knight’s parents died same day in a car accident. Their grandmother is living in Zimbabwe with no way for her of enabling her to generate income. She cried with tears of joy as she had no idea of how she will afford to educate these two grandchildren. Recently a couple that supports the charity heard the story of this grandmother and is now donating towards food aid for Elliot and Knight’s grandmother Chidzambwa.
